Join Us at the Parade

Every year, our community participates in the Greek Independence Day Parade in New York City. This day provides our community with the opportunity to display our Greek pride and love of our culture to all. Our church has a float in the parade which is adorned with the many would-be Evzones and cute little Amalias of our community. The GOYANs proudly carry the banner of St. George down 5th Avenue.

Bus transportation is provided every year to the parade. On the morning of the parade, the buses are loaded with proud Greeks, both young and old, from our community, During the bus ride into New York, a delicious box lunch is served.

More details on participating in this fun-filled event become available as the day of the parade approaches. If you would be interested in helping out at next year's parade, please contact any Board of Trustee for more information.
